OUR STORY

OUR STORY

Meet Wells and Company! Meet Lexie, Jordan, and Wells, we are a little family from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. In 2022, Lexie and Jordan got married, and in 2023, along came Wells.

This brand started because of Lexie's love for various bamboo items for Wells and a dream to have her own line. In partnership with Jordan's creative designs, Lexie's passion and knowledge of the product and market, as well as Wells to show off the merch, Wells & Company was born.

ABOUT US

She also runs a thrifting page where she sells her thrift finds to the world at reasonable rates. lex loves time with family, reading, and of course, bamboo clothing!

Jordan

Jordan was born and raised in North Battleford, but moved to Prince Albert after completing his education degree. He has been a teacher since 2016, and is now currently a Vice Principal at an elementary school in PA. Jordan loves all sports, officiating hockey, and watching the Lions play with Wells.

Wells

Wells was born in Prince Albert in 2023. He loves berries, noodles, and sports. He has recently developed an obsession with hockey, Toy Story, and most of all Lightning McQueen. Fun fact, Wells was named after Lexie's maiden name, the exact same as how her brother was named after her mom's maiden name, their own little family tradition.

GIVING BACK

A very short 13 days after Wells was born he became very sick and we as a family had to spend just shy of 30 days in the hospital as Wells fought off meningitis. This was an incredibly difficult and stressful time in our lives as we had to navigate being new parents with a sick baby needing to be hooked up to a picc line and constant medication. With the support of family, friends, and the medical staff, Wells made a full recovery.

During this time we spent majority of our time in the pediatrics ward in Prince Albert, but also had to do trip to the jim Pattison's Children Hospital in Saskatoon as well. We are eternally grateful for the care, attention, and support we received from the healthcare workers, the medical staff, among many others throughout this journey. Because of this, we feel like we want to give back any chance we get. Thus the creation of our business model.

In partnership with the Boreal Healthcare Foundation and the Victoria Hospital, we will be donating one item for every ten sold. The peds ward holds such a special place in our heart, so we feel like it is our turn to giveback to others who need the support during their time in the hospital, same as we did during our stay.
